Mermed is now open at @galerie_slika . It’s been months in the making and is the first chapter of a trilogy dedicated to the Mediterranean. As an Atlantic observer, I’ve embarked on a journey to explore a region and culture I’m naively very ignorant about. Thanks to Jérémie Masurel & Félix Baezner for their trust and support. Thanks to Margault , Thierry and Modelaine for their help. The second chapter will take place at the world expo in Osaka in 2025. ⛵️

Welcome, alas, to Juju’s castle. Presented at @nanzukaunderground Art Institute, it contains 70 new paintings produced during the past few months in Tokyo, Wash drawings, animation, a full blown room by room soundtrack, numerous painted wooden and steel sculptures, a 4m sword, cardboard installations, a giant hydra, fine glass characters, a mini train and some surprise. It is a mix between a dungeon crawl and a museum show. It’s an ode to fantasy and escapism and I hope you’ll like it. A humongous thank you to everyone who worked hard to make this show happen. Shinji & @nanzukaunderground , Michiko, Taka, Steve, Tat, Shen, Sally, Queeny, Daisy, @nico_jullien for the music, @paul_bourgois & @jeremyboulardlefur for the animation, and my uncle @juju56400 (aka JUJU) for the inspiration.
In 10 days, my new show JUJU’s CASTLE open with @nanzukaunderground in their new museum. It’s a full blown dungeon crawl where the visitors will be asked to choose a character to play amongst a cast of four and venture into the depths of the museum. Anyway here is Eggo! Hand drawn Animation by the amazing @jeremyboulardlefur & @paul_bourgois Music by @nico_jullien who has created a full soundtrack to accompany the show. #egg
