Six years ago today, @KanyeWest hosted the Yeezy Season 2 Fashion Show during New York Fashion Week. Yeezy Season 2 featured a luxuriously tan and beige color palette and streetwear that felt futuristic and a little dystopian. It became the blueprint of what a lot of streetwear and fashion brands are still producing today. This journey can be seen as early as 2019 where he wore Sunday Service Coachella Scuba Boots. He’s been dedicated to this vision even with his latest work 5 years later, in 2024, he designed the YZY Pods.
