And it’s not just fish who suffer. 🐬 Bycatch = the accidental killing of non-target species like dolphins, sea turtles, sharks, and even whales — all caught in massive fishing nets meant for something else. When you eat fish, you’re supporting industries that kill millions of innocent marine animals as “collateral damage.” 💔 One in every five fish caught is discarded as bycatch. We can’t save the ocean without rethinking what’s on our plate. 🧜🏽‍♀️ Eat less fish. Go vegan. Choose ocean-friendly foods.
