When Eyal Lamdan’s son became obsessed with basketball, Eyal decided to do what he could to provide lifelong memories for his child to enjoy his favorite sport. “It was almost as if one day he just came home obsessed with and super knowledgeable about the NBA,” Eyal explained. Living on Long Island (where Eyal was raised), the quick commute to @barclayscenter allowed him to introduce his son to live NBA action, which began with surprise tickets to a Nets game against the Golden State Warriors a few years ago. Since then, Eyal and his family have become Nets Level Members, going to about 25 games per season and participating in off-court events such as Practice in the Park, a road trip to Detroit to watch the team play, a shooting clinic with @camjohnson23, and more. The family’s game day routine involves arriving when doors open, having a pregame meal in the arena, and focusing on meeting the Nets players during pregame warmups. With a 13-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter, Eyal wants them to enjoy a sense of independence while at Barclays Center, allowing them to explore the arena, visit the shops, and greet the ushers. The kids even write custom holiday cards to give to the ushers near and around their section. Eyal and the family have also been featured on the “Wear Brooklyn At?” segment during a YES Network broadcast a few seasons ago and met Nets Public Address Announcer Olivier Sedra at the team’s annual Practice in the Park. Their love and passion for basketball don’t just stop with the Nets. Through their Nets Level Membership, the family attended a few @nyliberty games and have now become season-ticket members for the Nets’ WNBA sister team.
