Summer Night 🦋 Was inspired by Finnish Midsummer festivities for this piece. One of the most well known Finnish Midsummer spells is to pick seven different wildflowers and put them underneath a pillow for the night, in hopes to see ones future spouse in the dream!🪷🌻🌷 #juhannus #midsummer

Process of Seasons of Flowers🌱 My solo show ’Siellä täällä’ is having its opening reception today from 18 to 21, see you at @galleriakalleria 💕
Seasons of Flowers This piece is hands down the most time consuming I have ever painted, as well as by far the largest watercolor painting I have made! I was inspired by the style and complexity of nihonga paintings I’ve seen while living in Japan. In this piece I wanted to depict the changing of seasons by different species of flowers in bloom. This piece is part of my solo show in Helsinki, opening tomorrow December 5th and running until 18th at @galleriakalleria If you are in Helsinki please come check this piece out, I promise it looks way more impressive in person rather than from the small screen of your phone!
