On Our Radar: Emerging Designer Rohan Mirza Rohan Mirza aims to bridge the gap between the digital and physical worlds by infusing video game inspiration into his fashion designs. Drawing on the concept of a "skin drop" from battle royale games such as Fortnite, the young designer combines humor, creativity, and innovation—without conforming to the traditional rules of the fashion industry. Mirza's latest collection, aptly titled NUKETOWN, draws on these inspirations and collaborative brainstorming. The collection's distinctive imagery and motifs reflect what Mirza admires in the source material, while still honoring his personal design process. Grailed asked Mirza about the message they hope to deliver through their work: “The message that matters most to me through my work is to make people understand that working as a group is essential; doing anything alone is impossible, and the claim of being self-made is false. I want to show that by working with friends, family, and both experienced and inexperienced people, we can achieve great things without a big budget or large-scale production.”
