But this rose was hand picked by Brenda’s lovely hands. It’s interesting how something so BEAUTIFUL start off with only 5 petals.. Shit me, my mom, Greedy, Reg, and Wayne were those petals. Not knowing it takes time, love and tough conditions to get to those other beautiful levels. Pac once said what if you saw a Rose grow from concrete…. you would Marvel. Especially if you think about the TIME these players put in. Parents/Players travel to the events, hotels etc. Some dedicated their whole life to this craft so it’s only right that the craft look out right??? Well WE just did that and it’s called Freestyle Chess. It’s time for a new paradigm! From Englewood to owning a Chess League and a Chess paragidm called Chesstival.
