Growing up I was always the Asian guy in the gym. Then I went overseas and suddenly I was the foreigner. No matter where I went, I never quite felt like I fully belonged. But over time, I’ve learned that sitting in the in-between can be its own kind of strength. Being Asian American has taught me how to adapt, how to connect, and how to build bridges where there weren’t any before. This convo is a great example of how Patricia’s perspective continues to shape how I think, not just about the brand, but about myself too.
