Formed through a lesser-known opale doublet technique, layers of opal, onyx, or mother-of-pearl enrich hues with hypnotic depth. Velvet continues its spell for Diorexquis, debuting designs like the Diorette: a necklace of opals, gold, titanium, cultured pearls, and lacquered petals. Hidden within is a secret–it doubles as a Rouge Premier lipstick case, born of @VictoiredeCastellane’s vision in collaboration with @DiorBeauty’s Creative and Image Director, @PeterPhilipsMakeup. Worn close to the skin with a yellow panné gown by @MariaGraziaChiuri, it becomes a #DiorHauteJoaillerie gesture.
This #DiorHauteJoaillerie flight of fancy sees diamonds take on the delicacy of couture – glittering in kaleidoscopic motion and veiling bare décolletés for the Diorexquis presentation. Aventurine glass lends a celestial sheen, while suites appear in unison: a sunlit rivière, earrings and bracelets in spring shades, and a belt with smoldering stones. Finery by @MariaGraziaChiuri seals the silhouettes, every curve a tribute to the jewel it cradles.
