I would love to take this MOTHER’S DAY as an opportunity to celebrate all women who care for, support, and honor others, regardless of their situation. On a personal level, as a mother, daughter, relative and friend, I would like to express my love for all the people in my life, but especially the women in my family. Firstly, to my mother FLORENCE to whom I owe everything. She was a kind, intelligent, warm and caring person whose taste, style and education influenced me in every way. The lessons she taught me were not only about fashion and the arts, but ultimately about life. Thank you 🙏 To my sister-in-law DOREEN for being such an exemplary mother yourself and for setting a bar I could never match, but continue to aspire to always. To each of my daughters, Cecilia and Josephine, thank you for your profound understanding and support all these years despite so many sacrifices we all endured with my work schedule and my endless responsibilities. You have both become productive and responsible individuals in your own right… with a love for friends and family. To all the women I have worked for and with past and present, you are all women of substance and I thank you. To my dearest friends, we have travelled down the path of life regardless of so many life altering events, both good and challenging, and yet we continue to celebrate life. And finally, to all the women who have allowed me to dress you on your most significant day, whether it was a wedding, a red carpet, an anniversary or carpooling, I thank you for the trust you placed in me. …(And for those I may never meet, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and recognition.)
