this is my why. when i heard ‘God’s not done with you yet’ in this song for the first time, i immediately wanted to share that feeling with a room. I envisioned that one scene in the movie ‘Tangled’ where everyone is clinking beers and cheering over music and that’s exactly what i wanted to create for this piece. Imperfection. Synergy. Stories. That is why i teach. I tell people that the third rule of my class is the hardest of them all and everyone can agree. It’s the simplest rule and yet for some reason, stumbles everyone. The rule is to just “have fun.” so funny but so grateful that we get to reach a place where we can i help cultivate an experience like this and be so invited by such incredible students. God is good. 🔫🚷 i’ve been working on this piece for a while now and it naturally became a thing that everyone started to try as well. i can’t even begin to tell u how happy it makes me to see thousands of yall just trying this for fun. that’s all i’ve ever wanted to do with dance. to share my experience of music and movement with the world. BLISS✨ A @kylehanagami & @seanlew collab i’m still pinching myself over this class…. for context, i have grown up and learned from @kylehanagami for YEARS. he’s one of the few that, TILL this day, i have been so inspired by and still continue to learn from him. so to be able to CHOREOGRPAH with him, TEACH with him, heck just even spend some TIME with him, has been a nothing less than a true honor. thank you everyone for showing up to a PACKED and INCREDIBLE night. and thank you Kyle for trusting me to collaborating and creating together. love ya:) @tyla

twenty two years ago, the world got warmer, softer, more alive, and so much brighter because @lizzy_greene was born. you are the kind of woman that time pauses for. not because you ask it to, but because you grow with a grace that makes the world slow down and notice. i’m speaking from experience… watching you step into yourself has been like witnessing a flower bloom in slow motion. QUIET, POWERFUL, IMPOSSIBLE to look away from. since the day we met (technically for the second time), I’ve felt more like myself than I ever knew possible. your growth has held up a mirror to my own. becoming better isn’t even the ‘goal’, it’s like a desire, a motive, because you make it feel worth it. You are proof that love can be sacred, that growth can be gentle, and that faith doesn’t need to be shouted to be felt. I’m endlessly in awe of you. and i thank God everyday for ur existence. happy twenty second elizabeth greene.
