I cannot believe I’m writing this and tbh I’ve been looking at a blank notes page on my phone for the past 30 minutes. So here goes. When founding @oneractive in 2020 I knew in my heart this was going to be a special brand. It means something to me, it symbolises everything I’ve ever believed in and it holds a big part of my heart. Oner was created from my love for moving your body, being a woman who just wanted activewear to fit her properly in styles and colours that performed as well as made her feel confident. It always felt like I could find one or the other, but never both and simplfied. In 2024 we ended the year on $102m Rev with 100% growth year on year. Today I stand at our first NYC showroom, with the most incredible team of people behind Oner and the most amazing community of women who want to move their bodies and look good doing it. Cannot wait to see you all so soon! It has not been the easiest journey and mistakes have been made in the hundreds but I wouldn’t change anything on this journey of ours, of making Oner a brand that is worn in many more gyms, homes, walks and beyond. Thank you always for being the beating heart of Oner 🤍

When building our 2025 product roadmap last year I really wanted to make it clear to the world that the ONER woman is a multifaceted human who lifts/ runs/ jumps/ flows and most importantly recovers. With the introduction of the new Oner Cycle which includes for key activities: lift, hybrid, stretch and R&R it was crucial we offered silhouettes, colours and fabrics that perform for each end use. The goal to create a oner world where you’re always in oner and we help you move the way you want to that day. Pause & Recharge is a reminder that every strong woman needs her time off too, it’s a reminder that progress cannot happen without taking a rest to truly recharge. I thought this was important to share as I’ve seen a lot of people say, “You snapped back quickly because you had the foundations.” YES, you’re 100% right, but it was never quick! Firstly, everyone’s journey is very, very different, so you could be lifting for years before you fall pregnant, and your recovery could be so different from mine. Not to mention, women who have C-sections need way longer to recover (you ladies are my heroes), so please know your journey is very, very unique. However, I firmly believe in and will advocate for strength training and believe all women should be lifting/moving their bodies. It will make you stronger physically and mentally to overcome. Enough stats support this. My “snap back” is from the foundation I built, not from a quick 4-week program! It was years of work, and YES, nutrition and genetics add to this equation, so don’t be fooled. I just hope this is your reminder to move your body, and nothing comes quickly. This is a journey, and fitness is meant to elevate your life, never consume it!

The term bounce back actually can be pretty daunting. Reality is you never really bounce back, the body you had even a year ago really isn’t the body you have today. Once I had my baby my focus was on rebuilding on the foundations I had put in place. It was also about rebuilding my metal state, my habits, motivation to even show up in moments when I really didn’t want to. When your body is going through change you can’t think about getting back to how things were. You have to think about building and building daily on a new version of you. A stronger version.
