NEW REMIX. so…We Have Sound by Tom Vek (one of my favourite records of all time) has just turned 20 (!) And hence when Tom Vek himself reached out and asked for a remix to celebrate the occasion…I actually couldn’t believe it. EXTREME EXCITEMENT! But also…we are not worthy! And how the f*** could I change something that I love so much? It seemed like a ridiculous thing to do. But I did it anyway. I decided it was best not to attempt to defeat its brilliance, but to accept that it is fun to die reaching for it. So I just dropped the stems (it was so d*** cool to hear the stems, jeez) into my system and had a f***ing great time. Thank you Tom Vek for being part of Glass Animals’ bones, and thank you for letting me attack your perfectly wonderful recordings with my synths. Love always, Dave
