In Padova, @aacm_studio has created a 50-square-metre ceramic workshop for @mosca.bianca.ceramics where architecture embodies the pottery process. The ceiling twists like clay on a potter's wheel, focusing energy around a single zenithal light. The diagonal exhibition altar appears monolithic until revealing working seats and what architects call "a nature of interlocking and overlapping." Rammed-earth plaster made from clay and brick waste represents terracotta's cyclical life, while hidden tools maintain the space's exhibition aesthetic.
