지난해 말, @sfmoma 에서 연락을 받고 기쁜 마음에 이것저것 브레인스토밍을 하던 제가 눈에 선합니다. 18년에 처음 미술관에 다니기 시작해서 부지런히 공부하고 수집하며 이렇게 소박한 전시를 준비하게 되었습니다. 영광입니다. 전시 내용은 그간 제가 개인적으로 모아온 작품들과 SFMOMA의 컬렉션이 저와 SFMOMA의 공동 기획 아래 한데 어우러질 예정입니다. 내년 10월에 시간이 괜찮으시다면, 가벼운 마음으로 한 번 방문해주시길 청합니다. 오시는 모든 분들의 발걸음이 아깝지 않도록 재미나게 만들어보겠습니다. 감사합니다. At the end of last year, when I first heard from SFMOMA, the excitement still comes vividly to mind, as if I were sketching out countless ideas all over again. Since I began visiting museums in 2018, I’ve been learning and collecting step by step, and it feels both humbling and meaningful to now prepare this exhibition. The exhibition will bring together works I’ve collected over the years alongside pieces from SFMOMA’s collection, shaped through our shared curatorial process. If you have some time next October(2026), I would be honored if you could visit with an open heart. I will do my best to create an experience that feels enjoyable, refreshing, and worth your time.
