Mario Salcedo just hit his 1,000th voyage with Royal Caribbean.. A milestone more than two decades in the making. 😨🛳️ Known as “Super Mario” in cruise circles, he’s been living aboard Royal Caribbean ships almost continuously since 2000, stepping on land only a few days each year.. Except for a 15-month pause during Covid. His milestone trip took place aboard the Explorer of the Seas, a 3,286-passenger ship that departed Miami on January 5 for an 11-night journey to Panama and the southern Caribbean. Mario spends about $101,000 a year for a balcony cabin, funding his sea-based life through his investment management work.
