annabel.lucindaWEIGHT GAIN ↓ it’s shocking for me to look back at old pictures of myself when i was underweight (last slide). the thought of gaining weight terrified me, i remember thinking that i actually needed to lose more weight at that time. our minds are so powerful; your mindset can truly change how you see and perceive everything. once i started my fitness journey and changed my mindset, i was finally ready to gain back healthy weight. i encountered lots of negative thoughts and old habits trying to creep back into my mind. when you are in ED recovery or on any weight gain journey, it’s important to remind yourself that it’s OKAY that your body is going to change. change is good, healthy weight gain is good. you are so much more than a number on a scale or a clothing size, you deserve to be happy and healthy. it’s up to you to immediately push out those negative thoughts and remind yourself why you started this whole journey in the first place, for you, your happiness, and your health. a healthy body creates a happier you!! starting your weight gain journey may seem scary or intimidating, but for me, it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. i found a new appreciation for myself and my body. besides the physical benefits, i realized not to base my worth of my appearance but rather who i am as a person. this journey has challenged me so much mentally, creating a stronger, more resilient version of myself. my weight gain journey hasn’t finished, but i am extremely proud of myself and my progress over the past 2 years! as always, my DMs are always open if you are ever struggling 🤍🫂 i’m obsessed with the new cotton candy @ryse_fuel 🙏🏼🍬 code ANNABEL on all @ryse_supps for 15% off!
