My Christmas Traditions🎄 It’s only three nights until Christmas (in Finland we celebrate Christmas on the 24th) and I thought it’d be fun to share my favorite traditions that I always do at this time of the year✨ 🎄Tree decoration: when I was a kid we always did this on 21st of December but nowadays I already put up the tree on the 1st of December✨ 🍪Baking gingerbread cookies and usually I also make a gingerbread house but I was too busy this year… 🪵Christmas Sauna in the morning or in the evening ❄️Ice swimming in the morning (like I do every morning😂) 🥄 Eating rice porridge around 12pm after watching ”The Declaration of Christmas Peace” from tv 💪🏻 Challenging my family to try fun workout challenges and creating new partner challenges! 🍽️ Christmas dinner with the family! This week Finland’s largest newspaper featured my journey in a captivating two-page article! As promised, here’s a quick English summary for you 💕 Natalia Bartholdi, 30, experienced a rapid rise to Instagram fame, now inspiring over a million followers with her breathtaking workout videos. Two years ago, the former cheerleading national team captain struggled financially, hoping for 10,000 followers for brand deals. In early 2024, her workout videos unexpectedly went viral on TikTok and Instagram. Bartholdi is an 11-time Finnish champion, a two-time European champion, and a five-time World Championship bronze medalist. She is a fitness instructor, personal trainer, and holds a business degree. She has also completed training as a mental coach and studied sports nutrition at an open university. Combining cheerleading with studies or personal training work meant financial scarcity. The decision to end her career came in 2023. Bartholdi still had debts to the federation from the previous season. National team tryouts were approaching, but the team’s captain of the previous three years had to make a painful decision. ”I had to announce that I wouldn’t be there because I didn’t have the money. I can’t risk going into debt collection because of it.” However, after the difficult decision, a new door opened. First, a workout video garnered millions of views on TikTok, then the same thing happened on Instagram. The workouts truly exceed the abilities of the average fitness enthusiast. Aerial splits, slow muscle-ups, abdominal exercises while hanging from a bar by her legs, handstand push-ups... Bartholdi combines flexibility and strength with imaginative movements that look effortless but are impressive. Her vegan lifestyle and strength also defy expectations. Unlike many influencers, Bartholdi primarily uses her massive platform to promote her own company selling Finnish-made home gym equipment and her training app. While she gets collaboration requests, her own business is her main income source.
