For the newly rebuilt Hirate Kindergarten in Aichi Prefecture, graphic design studio @6d_graphicdesign has designed a suite of environmental graphics that integrate seamlessly with the architecture. The building, constructed entirely from brick, reflects both the region’s heritage and the kindergarten’s emphasis on authenticity. By using the same bricks and designing the signage to appear as an extension of the wall, the signs are fully integrated with the architecture. The lettering is carved directly into the brickwork, resulting in a subtle and natural presence that blends seamlessly with the surroundings. At its heart is a coffee-obsessed horse with a passion for storytelling, bringing to life the many narratives that could unfold in Tulum. Designed by @andres.higueros, the branding features a custom typography that seamlessly integrates with the brand’s illustration, creating a dynamic and characterful identity. To ensure both cost efficiency and ease of application, the packaging system relies on stickers, adding a vibrant, handcrafted quality to the brand. @bangaldawson, a creative studio based in New York City and Tokyo, has crafted the brand identity for ENEY — a jewellery brand dedicated to lab-grown diamonds that are identical to earth-mined diamonds in every way, except that they are created in a lab. They developed the brand strategy and designed a new visual language, focusing on a brand that feels more modern, refined, and effortlessly luxurious. The brand mark was designed by synthesising the chemical symbol of a diamond in a twin-like formation, distilling the essence of lab-grown diamonds into a distinctive and symbolic emblem.
