Inspired by the Irish expression “What’s the story, horse?”, @storyhorsecafe is a coffee shop in Tulum that embodies a relaxed and playful personality. At its heart is a coffee-obsessed horse with a passion for storytelling, bringing to life the many narratives that could unfold in Tulum. Designed by @andres.higueros, the branding features a custom typography that seamlessly integrates with the brand’s illustration, creating a dynamic and characterful identity. To ensure both cost efficiency and ease of application, the packaging system relies on stickers, adding a vibrant, handcrafted quality to the brand. This approach not only introduces pops of colour but also embraces the tactile, human aspects of coffee-making, resulting in a design that feels unique with every application.
