Crazy what happens when you actually dial in your training variables and follow proper periodization… Lately I’ve been playing around with slower eccentrics and isometric holds on the pendulum squat, nothing heavy, just controlled. First real push session since prep last year and somehow ended up adding 90lbs. Not mad. Moral of the story: there’s more to breaking plateaus than just “train harder.” Train smarter.
