I think people get nervous because their subconscious knows they are not fully prepared. If you are well-prepared, it’s less likely to feel anxious. So when I am about to face something that might make me nervous, I will double-check everything to ensure that nothing goes wrong.” The confidence she displays on screen is the result of countless hours of practice; she has not been without anxiety, but she has learned how to coexist with it and overcome her unease through action.
