This is exactly what Chopard @chopard has delivered with its Insofu High Jewellery collection! The Zambian miners who discovered a colossal 6,225-ct rough emerald named it Insofu, meaning elephant in the local Bemba language. Handling such an enormous emerald is no small feat, and to take on this challenge, Chopard welcomed master gem-cutters from India – a country with a rich heritage in gemstone cutting – to its Geneva workshop.
