#周冬雨预见未来的自己VOGUE大片 2016年，彼时23岁的周冬雨 (@zhoudongyu) 凭借《七月与安生》成为金马影后，一时之间，风光无限。她拥有作为演员的天赋、灵动和极强的可塑性，那些躲闪的眼神、低垂的视线和紧闭的嘴唇，哪怕没有一句台词，人物身上的破碎感呼之欲出。然而私下里，周冬雨会把吃当成头等大事，“吃好喝好睡好，我才能干什么都有劲”。想起最近吃到的烤肉、生腌蟹，再配上一杯啤酒的快乐，她忍不住唱了起来，“那就是天堂，这是我的家……”   In 2016, at just 23 years old, Zhou Dongyu (@zhoudongyu) won Best Actress at the Golden Horse Awards for “Soul Mate”. Gifted, expressive, and remarkably versatile, she brings characters to life with just a glance — a flicker of the eyes, a lowered gaze, a tightly shut mouth. #周冬雨预见未来的自己VOGUE大片 对VOGUE六月刊封面人物周冬雨 (@zhoudongyu) 来说，她很相信缘分，也在意拥有不同的体验，生活如此，拍戏更是如此。“每次我从一个剧组结束拍摄，都会跟我的房间留一张影，因为我在那儿住了两三个月，有时候甚至是更长的时间，离开的时候，心里觉得特难过，感觉这段时间结束了，这段生活告一段落，再也不会重返。”但那些相遇迸发的火光、重逢涌现的温柔还在，它们被银幕的光影记录，也成为了周冬雨的人生注脚，映照出每时每刻的她，她笑着说：“任何的相遇都需要缘分，最厉害也是最美好的地方是，你永远都预测不到缘分，只有它到来的时候，你才知晓，这也是人生最美好的一个部分。” Zhou Dongyu (@zhoudongyu), the cover star of VOGUE China‘s June issue, is a believer of fate. She values the richness of different experiences in life, and even more so in acting. “Every time I finish shooting with a crew, I always take a photo of my hotel room before leaving, as it has been my home for two or three months, sometimes even longer. When it’s time to go, I am sad of the fact that it marks the end of a period, a chapter of life that is I will never be returning to.” But the sparks of connection and of reunion remain — captured on the silver screen, reflecting who she is in every moment. With a smile, she says: “Every encounter is about fate. The most powerful and beautiful part is that you can never predict it, you can only recognize it when it arrives. 「#VOGUE对话 In Conversation With 蔡国强」这一次作品的名字叫“跨物种情书”，由蔡国强的AI模型CAI™W“自编自导自演”，讲述了一个叫斯特拉的卫星，被送往太空寻找外星人，但直到它越来越老却依然没找到外星人，于是便自己移动到卫星坟墓轨道的故事。所以，这一次蔡国强就以“坟墓轨道”作为主题来讨论我们人类的情感，还有责任。 在今天的情况下，其实是在考使用AI的人的能力，智慧和创造力。“如何帮助AI展现出它的AI性？AI更不应该像人类，我们人类有很多问题—寂寞孤独，自私自利，野心和控制，当你需要AI有更大的自由，那你就要给它更大的空间。“这不仅是一场表演，更是一场关于信任、科技与未来生命形态的思想实验。 This piece, titled “Cross-Species Love Letter”, was self-written, directed, and performed by Cai Guo Qiang’s AI model, CAI™W. It tells the story of a satellite named Stella, launched into space to search for aliens. As she grows old without ever finding them, she eventually chooses to drift into a satellite graveyard orbit. With “graveyard orbit” as the theme, Cai Guo Qiang continues to explore human emotions and responsibility. In today’s context, the real test lies in the wisdom, creativity, and capability of those who uses AI. “How can we help AI express its AI-ness? AI should not mimic humans, because we have our flaws: loneliness, selfishness, ambition, and the urge to control. #蔡国强VOGUEArt封面 #蔡国强VOGUE跨物种情书 蔡国强最想写信的对象，是一颗漂流在太空、逐渐老去的卫星“斯特拉”。这颗卫星在寻找外星人的旅途中逐渐失灵，最终驶向“坟墓轨道”。他说自己从小对星空充满好奇，听说要为“地球到太空”艺术节做项目，就立刻兴奋了起来。   为了这封情书，他让AI和火药一起协作，在波多马克河上空绽放出一场烟花。观众扫码写下寄语，再在手机上滑动屏幕，向天发射一朵真实的粉色小烟花，像是给宇宙中那些孤独的机器送去一点人类的温柔和想象。#VOGUEArt   The recipient Cai Guoqiang most longed to write to was “Stella,” an aging satellite drifting alone through space. Once on a mission to search for extraterrestrial life, the satellite gradually lost its functions and is now on a slow path toward what’s known as a ”graveyard orbit.“ Cai, who has been fascinated by the stars since childhood, said he was immediately inspired when he learned he would be creating a project for the ”Earth to Space“ art festival.   For this love letter to the cosmos, Cai orchestrated a poetic collaboration between gunpowder and technology, staging a fireworks display over the Potomac River. Audiences were invited to scan a code, write their own message, and with a swipe on their phone, launch a small, real pink firework into the sky. He believes that art should never fear being ”naive“ or ”untimely“; what it should fear is the loss of curiosity, the reluctance to face change. In his latest work, he casts a failing satellite as the protagonist, inviting AI to tell the story of a solitary machine learning to love, and learning to accept a love letter from humanity.   At a time when globalization falters and the world drifts toward isolationism, Cai chooses, instead, to believe in romance. He stages a boyish, cross-species gesture using fireworks and AI, bridging the human and the non-human. He does not turn away from the unease that AI brings, but embraces the unpredictability and wonder it evokes—much as he has always embraced the volatile moment of gunpowder ignition. As he sees it, there is no neutrality when it comes to AI; whether we engage with it or not, it is already reshaping the world, and we are inescapably entangled with it.   So rather than succumbing to fear, Cai urges us to do as he does: to turn what may seem like innocent or impractical dreams into acts of reality.
