Mobius Pier is a conceptual project by X Atelier that proposes a continuous wooden structure where the forest meets the Inha River, a tributary of the Douro in Portugal. Designed as a ribbon-like form anchored to the riverbank, the structure invites new ways of experiencing the landscape—whether walking along the shoreline, docking a kayak, or diving into the water. Parametrically designed for efficiency, the pier uses a single modular element repeated throughout, reducing construction impact while preserving the surrounding ecosystem. Located on the Vejle Fjord in Denmark, The Wave by Henning Larsen reinterprets the surrounding landscape through architecture.
