Must be a full moon, feels like one of those nights 🎵⁣ If you’re in search of something to do this weekend, look up! The next full moon will be on Sunday, Feb. 1. What you see on the Moon with just your eyes will vary depending on your eyesight. Give yourself plenty of time for your eyes to adjust and look carefully.⁣ Without binoculars, you’ll be able to see a few landmarks like Aristarchus Plateau, Mare Serenitatis (the “Sea of Serenity,” where the Apollo 17 astronauts landed), and Mare Fecunditatis. Using binoculars or a telescope will reveal more details, like cliffs. Visit go.nasa.gov/moonguide to learn more about them!⁣ Image description: The Moon is a big, round ball with a beige tint to its actual gray color.
