Face House designed by Kazumasa Yamashita. (1974) Located in Kyoto, the building is an example of kanban architecture, where the façade takes on a bold, sign-like character — in this case, featuring face-like elements that resemble eyes and a nose. Originally designed for a graphic designer (who still resides on the upper floors), the ground level has recently been repurposed into a gallery and shop space. What are your thoughts? 💭
