Dietfurt Limestone from @frankenschotter in its finest form. For the @retterspitz flagship store in Nuremberg, @katjareiter_interior placed natural presence at the core of the design: Flat splitface walls are easy – but curved splitface walls represent a challenge as any standard splitter here just won’t suffice. These Dietfurt Limestone walls were split by hand to create a curvature and then installed overlapping to create cascading terraces. In order to achieve the weight limits the floor can handle the back of the panels were milled out using CNC fabrication.
