The Philippine Pavilion "Woven" at Expo Osaka 2025 is designed by architectural firm Carlo Calma Consultancy Inc., in partnership with Japanese executive architect Cat Inc. Drawing from Filipino weaving traditions, the pavilion integrates over 1,000 rattan strands and panels handwoven by artisans from 18 regions. The modular structure uses renewable materials and prioritizes circularity, with elements planned for reuse at the National Museum of the Philippines. #architecture: Carlo Calma Consultancy Inc. @calmacarlo 📍#Japan #photography: Masaki Komatsu
