[Auction News] Not every jewel finds its match at the hammer. One of the most anticipated lots at Phillips Geneva @phillipsauction – a 53.14-ct Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond pendant – failed to sell, as reported by Forbes. This old mine cut, internally flawless diamond was expected to fetch up to CHF 3.1 million. But even with its exceptional colour and clarity, this isn’t always enough to seal the deal on auction day.
